Dolmabahce Palace: Built in the mid-19th century by Sultan Abdülmecit along the shores of the Bosphorus, this palace required 14 tons of pure gold for its interior decoration. A large collection of paintings, fantastic crystal chandeliers and the imperial treasury add to the grandeur (Selamlık –Sultan’s Offices- are not included)

Note: This tour does not operate on Mondays and Thursdays when Dolmabahce Palace is closed.
